New group exercise classes this fall!
It’s no secret, I love group exercise classes! They make for simple and excellent workouts, while being guided by an instructor! And when a new class is introduced, it keeps the motivation high!
This is why I am pleased to introduce 4 new classes that will be offered at Nautilus Plus this fall, namely, two dance classes and two muscle toning classes. You should know that you can take part at any time during the session! All you need to do is register via the Nautilus Plus mobile app or directly on our wesbite. Not a member yet? You can sample our classes before becoming a registered member!
The BODY DANCE class is the perfect way to sway and have fun while improving your cardio! You’ll perform a variety of movements inspired by hip hop, jazz, Latin, and many other styles depending on the music chosen by the instructor. All fitness levels are welcome. Guaranteed fun!
In the DANCE ABS class designed by Karine Larose, we keep our exercise mat close by so we can get down to work those abs then get right back up again to continue the dance. In a festive atmosphere, we alternate between dance sequences, reminiscent of a nightclub atmosphere, and sequences of ultra-effective exercises to strengthen and tone the core! This class works your cardiovascular system, generates a large caloric expenditure, and tones the upper body, the abs and the back. Want to get an idea of what the moves look like? MUSCLE TONING CLASSES
If you appreciated the use of the television to display the timer in our POWER FIT and TABATA FIT videos, you will definitely enjoy the same feature in the UPPER BODY and LOWER BODY classes designed by Karine Larose! And you guessed it, in these classes we either concentrate on the upper body or the lower body. The concept? A 30-minute class completely dedicated to strengthening the UPPER BODY muscles: arms, shoulders, back, lumbar and abdominal muscles OR the LOWER BODY : legs, glutes, thighs, calves and abdominals.
24 different exercises are performed during 45 seconds, followed by 15-second rest periods during which the instructor describes the next exercise. Various intensity options are offered to ensure optimal progression and results. And as mentioned before, the television displays the timer that counts down each interval. Quite motivating!
All fitness levels are welcome.
MOTIVATION TIP : Consult the group exercise class schedule for your club, register to the classes you want to take part in and block off those dates and times in your agenda. When things are scheduled, half the job is done! 😉
Have a happy and healthy session!
