3 Mocktails Recipes for a Refreshing Change!

Sobriety is increasingly popular. Whether to take up a 28-day alcohol-free challenge, for health reasons or simply by choice, here are 3 delicious mocktails recipes that are easy to concoct!

Peach & Ginger Lemonade Mocktail

Quantity: 6 servings

Preparation time: 5 min

Cooking time: 15 min


  • 3 cups peaches, frozen
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 6 cups (1.5 L) water
  • 1 cup lemon juice


  1. In a small pot, combine the peaches, ginger, maple syrup and about 1 cup of water (reserve the other 5 cups of water for later).
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  3. Purée the mixture with a blender. If necessary, strain to remove any chunks.
  4. When ready to serve, add ice, water, lemon juice and adjust to taste.

Nutritional values:  114 calories | 1g protein | 29g carbohydrates | 0g fat | 2g fiber


Orange Cranberry & Basil Mocktail

Quantity: 8 servings

Preparation time: 5 min

Marinating time: 1 hour or overnight


  • 6 cups (1.5L) cranberry-raspberry juice
  • Lemon juice
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 2 cups (500 mL) sparkling water
  • A dozen fresh basil leaves
  • Choice of fruit


  1. In a large container, pour in the cranberry-raspberry juice, the lemon juice, the zest and juice of orange, the basil and fruit of your choice.
  2. Allow the ingredients to marinate for a minimum of one hour. For added taste, ideally allow to marinate overnight.
  3. When ready to serve, add sparkling water and ice cubes.

Nutritional values:  98 calories | 0g protein | 25g carbohydrates | 0g fat | 0g fiber


Spicy Apple Cider Mocktail

Quantity: 4 servings

Preparation time: 15 min

Cooking time: 15 min


  •  4 cups (1 L) apple juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) maple syrup


  1. In a pot, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Strain the mixture through a sieve.
  3. Serve on ice.

Nutritional values: 127 calories | 0g protein | 31g carbohydrates | 0g fat | 1g fiber
