Vitamin-Packed Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

How about a comforting, flavorful drink that perfectly celebrates fall and its warm, spicy notes? This vitamin-rich pumpkin spice smoothie combines the smooth sweetness of pumpkin with traditional spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. It’s both nutritious and delicious, packed with essential vitamins — including A, D, C, and B12 — providing over 5% of your daily needs.

Easy to prepare, this smoothie is a great way to enjoy not only the wonderful taste but also the health benefits of pumpkin while treating yourself. You can even add a bit more milk to turn it into an ideal base for your overnight oats — a practical and tasty breakfast option.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) pumpkin purée
  • 180 ml (⅔ cup) protein milk (~18g protein)
  • 125 ml (½ cup) plain Greek yogurt (0%)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla plant-based protein powder (can be substituted with regular protein powder)
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • A pinch of ginger

Preparation method

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.
