
What if your morning coffee could be both a source of pleasure… and protein? This protein-packed pistachio gourmet coffee, made with protein powder, offers a slightly sweet touch and gives you carte blanche to customize the flavor to your liking!
Collagen powder, which is often flavorless, is an excellent alternative for enriching your latte with protein without altering the taste. This recipe is proof that shakes aren’t the only way to incorporate protein powder into your daily routine! And let’s face it, it tastes better in coffee 😉

Ingredients
- 1 espresso
- ½ scoop (10-15g) pistachio protein isolate powder*
- 1 cup (250ml) 2% cow’s milk
- Optional toppings: Crushed pistachios, cinnamon, cocoa
*You could also use collagen powder or another protein powder of your choice. However, please note that your choice of protein powder may affect the nutritional values below.
Preparation
- In a microwave-safe cup, whisk the protein powder with the cup of cold milk. A handheld milk frother is ideal for this step.
- Heat the cup of protein milk in the microwave for about 1 minute or using a steam milk frother.
- Pour the espresso into the cup of protein milk.
- Enjoy your pistachio gourmet coffee in front of the fireplace with a good book! 😉
