Ingredients
- 5 cups seedless watermelon, cubed (about one 3 lb watermelon)
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup (60 mL) honey
- ¼ tsp salt
- Lime zest, for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper and arrange the watermelon cubes in a single layer. Freeze until completely solid, about 3 hours.
- Transfer the frozen watermelon, honey, lime juice, and salt to a food processor or high-powered blender. Blend until smooth.
- Scrape down the sides as needed and continue blending until the mixture reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for an additional 2 to 3 hours for a firmer sorbet.
Storage: Store the sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
