I thought about my children and myself

I am an only daughter, and I lost my father and my mother within the span of a few years, while they were still in their prime years. When you’re almost 38 years old with two kids, events like this give you food for thought.

I didn’t want the pattern to repeat itself with my children, and I was well aware it could happen if I didn’t take any action. So, in January 2014, I pushed open the doors of a fitness centre known for its professionalism with a strong conviction to rebuild my health. A year later, I lost 80 pounds under the advice and supervision of both my trainer and my nutritionist. Yes, 80 pounds! With resolve, everyone can succeed. I can now play with my children without being exhausted, and I hope I can take care of them for a long time.

Magali Meissonnier,  is part of the community ”Enformidables” which gathers people who have left their sedentarity lifestyle and inspire us with their great story that motivates us to become an ”Enformidable” too.
