Goodbye diabetes!

In October 2011, a blood test revealed that I suffered from pre-diabetes. Given the fact that I had a bodyweight of 350 pounds at the time, I had to do something, or… But what can you do when you’d rather eat than exercise?

I decided to sign up for a membership in a fitness centre that provides coaching services. I needed the help of a personal trainer and a nutritionist. The two go hand in hand. I was determined to lose weight and get in shape. After only a few months, all signs of diabetes had subsided! Spurred by my results, I continued my quest. Now, three and a half years later, I have lost 80 pounds. That’s what motivates me the most: getting results! I am constantly improving my physical condition, and most of all, I now feel the urge to exercise.
