Ces r\u00e9sultats sont quand m\u00eame impressionnants, en prenant en compte que l\u2019exercice physique ne co\u00fbte rien et peut apporter en prime, plusieurs autres bienfaits non-n\u00e9gligeables pour la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9quipe de scientifiques \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Princeton a d\u00e9voil\u00e9 que comparativement \u00e0 des souris s\u00e9dentaires, lorsque des souris \u00e9taient soumises \u00e0 l\u2019exercice physique r\u00e9gulier, leurs cerveaux affichaient une hausse de l\u2019activit\u00e9 neuronale (apparition de nouveaux neurones) dans la partie ventrale de l\u2019hippocampe, cette r\u00e9gion du cerveau li\u00e9e \u00e0 la r\u00e9gulation de l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9. Comme ces jeunes neurones sont typiquement plus excitables que leurs homologues plus matures, on aurait cru que l\u2019exercice r\u00e9sulterait en une hausse d\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, pas moins!<b> Mais cette \u00e9tude d\u00e9voile toutefois que ces nouveaux neurones rel\u00e2chent des neurotransmetteurs appel\u00e9s GABA qui eux, inhibent l\u2019activation neuronale excessive. Ceci aide \u00e0 induire un \u00e9tat de calme naturel.<\/b> Les m\u00e9dicaments prescrits pour l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 procureraient les m\u00eames effets de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re, en amplifiant l\u2019action des GABA.<\/p>\n<p><b>Quel type d\u2019exercice est plus profitable?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La nature de l\u2019exercice importerait peu. L\u2019important, c\u2019est d\u2019en faire! En effet, peu importe le type d\u2019exercice effectu\u00e9, vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper. <b>Tous les types d\u2019exercices procurent des effets positifs particuli\u00e8rement s\u2019ils sont suffisamment exigeants.<\/b> Des exercices cardiovasculaires, de musculation et d\u2019\u00e9tirement sont tous b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques. <b>Le yoga semble toutefois \u00eatre particuli\u00e8rement b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour la sant\u00e9 mentale<\/b>.
